Sarah Morrison has been a nurse for over 10 years and has special interest in cancer nursing.
As well as being awarded Graduate of the Year for Epworth Healthcare in 2010, she has completed post graduate studies in oncology/palliative care and breast care nursing.
Sarah consults with Dr Thornton at Specialist Breast Cancer Surgery, as well as working in the Day Oncology wards at Epworth Eastern and Epworth Richmond.
Sarah believes one of the most rewarding elements to breast care nursing is being able to support and guide patients through the unknown world of breast cancer. This time in a woman life is often mixed with trepidation and fear. Sarah hopes with the help and knowledge the breast care nurses can provide, the journey travelled is made a little easier.
